Then I went back and now it shows the "Connect with google drive for further access" page, and when I click Connect it just shows disconnected in the background and doesnt proceed to let me select an account or anything.

We are currently working on this issue. A possible workaround would be to refresh the page or restart the browser when it keep shows disconnected in the background.
