couple days now and any time a user chats using google voice it seems to freeze up. any info on a fix? any help is appreciated

I am having the same issues. Every time I switch to a different voice speech chat freezes and it no longer works unless I refresh it. But then again it freezes up again after a few min

I am using this speech chat for twitch
I am using google chrome for my web browser
I have reset the settings and closed and reopened the browser 
I have restarted my pc

Currently, Google Voices that comes with Google Chrome will freeze randomly for unknown reasons. I speculate that Google may have set a limit on how many times it can be used per a couple of minutes.

This problem cannot be solved on our end.

My suggestion is to use voices installed on your system, such as Microsoft TTS voices or use the online voices that come with the Microsoft Edge browser.
