They no longer work in chrome as of a maybe a couple of days ago. Any way to fix this or potentially download said voices to use in other browsers?
It now also takes a while for it to start using the microsoft voices.

Currently, Google Voices that comes with Google Chrome will freeze randomly for unknown reasons. I speculate that Google may have set a limit on how many times it can be used per a couple of minutes.

This problem cannot be solved on our end.

My suggestion is to use voices installed on your system, such as Microsoft TTS voices or use the online voices that come with the Microsoft Edge browser.
