interesting situation/question - infernodemon2005 - 01-18-2018 I am a low vision individual who is starting to get into streaming. I have some usable vision, but not much. This leads me to need something like speechchat to read my twitch chat for me while I focus on gameplay. The situation, however, is that I do not want the TTS broadcast. I have a dual audio headset with a communications channel and a desktop audio channel. I want speechchat to read to me on the communications channel instead of the desktop audio channel, however it defaults to the google chrome default. since it is not using the html5 standard to read the text, plugins like audio picker do not properly route the tts voice to other devices. does anyone have any suggestions on how I can work around this issue and route the tts to the communication device? RE: interesting situation/question - admin - 01-18-2018 This article may have a solution for you: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-split-exclude-seperate-audio-sources-off-your-stream-or-recording.8/ RE: interesting situation/question - infernodemon2005 - 01-19-2018 web browsers like chrome do not let you change the audio output device. on top of this, the games I mainly play also do not have these advanced audio selections. this makes for a poor situation when looking at voicemeter. what I need is a way to shift chrome audio away from the "default desktop audio" output. without that ability, I will have to shell out $35 for streamtalker, which has the ability to separate itself from the primary audio channel and set itself to the default communication device. as much as it pains me to say, I will be unable to use your web app for my needs due to chrome's defficiencies.
