not recognizing $x$ variables - Brian Ciesicki - 08-17-2021 I recently switched from Mac OS 10.13 too 11.5. Now the $ variable are no longer being read. Instead it just ignores my mesage This is locally before I stream when doing a mic check It does say Hello. Hello. Because those are constants. But the word "says", also a constant, between the variables $username$ and $message$m is missing PS I'm using the latest Safari. When I do stream, I use Twitch. But my main outbound broadcast bandwidth is my cellular phone using Duet Display to pipe OBS and screen capture that and broadcast out using SLOBS (StreamLabs OBS) for Android. The Mac has auxiliary bandwidth for transmitting text my Victoria speech synthesis says. RE: not recognizing $x$ variables - Brian Ciesicki - 10-29-2021 It has done it again ever since I updated from OS 11 to OS12. Might to be an Apple Issue? If I find out, I'll tell you. RE: not recognizing $x$ variables - Brian Ciesicki - 10-29-2021 You hav e to go into Safari Settings, select the speechchat website and on content blockers and uncheck something that indicates to not block code. I'm not sure what happened, because undoing it no longer allows you to redo it, and I forgot what I did an hour ago. And' I can't recreate it. Maybe someone with Mac OS 12 can help |
